The stock market’s bad attitude last Christmas was a fierce and rather painful reminder that the stock market is basically an emotional storm fest. With no real changes in employment, wages, economic growth, national product, corporate revenue, corporate profits, fiscal policy, monetary policy (get the point?), the market decided to throw an absolute temper tantrum and rip off 20% of its hard earned gains like a cheap ticket stub. Well, after only a couple of months the childish romp appears to be behind us and a more mature and civilized stock market has emerged. I hope all of you were savvy enough to keep your positions steady and ride the tide. The bounce back up was surely a mighty one. Best to all my investing friends.
